Foster and Main Streets
Peabody, Massachusetts

An urban infill project planned for an existing surface parking lot at the corner of Main and Foster Streets, this project proposes to enhance the vitality of Peabody Square by replacing the surface parking with structured parking - up to 120 spaces with a mix of public and private parking - and introducing up to 60 residential units, with a retail component offering cafe seating in a small garden plaza fronting onto the Square.

In conjunction with the Essex Hotel Peabody, planned for the historic O’Shea building, on the opposite corner of Main Street, the two projects are important steps toward realizing Mayor Bettencourt’s vision for revitalizing Peabody Square.
